On Saturday, September 12, 2015, Dolphins Plus Bayside proudly hosted the Mammals, Mutts, and Martinis Fundraiser for Marrvelous Pet Rescue, raising $8,700 in a single night! Guests experienced both the structured and shallow water dolphin swims, with all proceeds going to Marrvelous. While jamming to music by Mack Meadows, guests sipped martinis, ate paella prepared by Mangrove Mike’s Cafe, and bid on wonderful items for the silent auction. Making a special appearance that night were Dolphins Plus mascot, Echo, and Marrvelous Rescue’s mascot, Skippy. The evening culminated with a sunset dolphin show. After over 35 years of marine mammal research, education, and public interactions in the Key Largo community, the Dolphins Plus family thoroughly enjoys supporting our local community and giving back to organizations such as Marrvelous Pet Rescue. What a fabulous event for our finned and furry friends!
